Responsibilities
Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
Implement security and data protection measures
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Node.js Developer
Strong proficiency in TypeScript
Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks
Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of microservices architecture
