Administrative Branch Manager

Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a full-time Administrative Branch Manager to provide safety leadership and guidance to management in an office setting while overseeing safety compliance across park locations. The role involves implementing programs for regulatory compliance and coordinating training and activities to ensure safety guidelines are met.

Responsibilities

Implement programs necessary to be KYOSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agency compliant
Reviews of all DOP existing programs and policies regarding safety training issues making recommendations to management
Schedules trainings and activities across all park locations to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and compliance
Communicates concerns and issues with management and Central Office staff
Coordinates with management, legal, and parks staff regarding Kentucky Emergency Management continuity of operation plan. Serves as representative of Kentucky State Parks

OSHA complianceSafety program managementKYOSHA complianceTraining experienceCommunication skills

Required

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
Five years of professional administrative experience
A master's degree in public or business administration or a related field will substitute for one year of the required experience
Additional administrative, business or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis

Preferred

Previous management and safety program experience
OSHA 10-30 approved trainer and training experience
Strong knowledge of KYOSHA compliance
