Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of data migration projects from assessment and planning to execution and validation
Develop migration strategies methodologies and detailed migration plans
Analyze source and target systems to define data mapping transformation rules and quality requirements
Oversee data extraction cleansing transformation and loading ETL processes
Coordinate with application owners business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and readiness
Establish and enforce data quality standards validation rules and reconciliation processes
Identify risks issues and dependencies develop mitigation strategies
Manage migration testing cycles including mock runs cutover planning and post migration validation
Provide leadership to data migration teams including analysts developers and testers
Maintain documentation for migration processes data dictionaries and technical specifications
Ensure compliance with data governance security and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading large scale data migration projects
Strong understanding of data modeling ETL processes and database technologies SQL Server Oracle MySQL etc
Hands on experience with migration toolsInformatica AWS SSIS Talend
Expertise in SQL and data transformation logic
Solid understanding of cloud platforms AWS especially cloud based migration patterns
Excellent problem solving communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage cross functional teams and work in fast paced environments
