They are seeking a Radar Countermeasures Engineer to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, focusing on modeling and simulation, lab-based hardware simulations, and technique development related to radar systems.

Responsibilities

Radar analysis and experimentation
Signal processing experience, especially when working with radar systems and radar data
Developing counter radar waveform techniques and systems
MATLAB for code development / interfacing with lab hardware / data analysis
Preparation and presentation of technical data
Planning and executing Army Science and Technology efforts

Qualification

Required

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI
US Citizenship
Design knowledge and experience in the areas of RF (radar preferred) signal processing
Knowledge of radar architectures, capabilities, and waveforms (SAR preferred)
RF countermeasure experience (radar preferred)
RF closed loop HW evaluations (working with cable connected RF / Effects at raw IQ level)
