Stage Coordinator

Responsibilities

Conduct pre/post stage inspection with facilities team and with production
Create daily stage checklists and implement procedures
Experience and understand practical applications of lighting and grip equipment
Coordinate stage operation procedures relating to set load in, load out and shooting processes to facilitate a smooth production run with clients
Enforce local fire codes as they relate to a studio environment
Enforce Safety rules and regulations as they relate to a studio environment
Conduct daily stage inspections
Move-in and move-out checklist completion (riggings, stage, perms, stairwells, etc.)
Daily stage report (DSR) completion

Required

3+ years of related industry experience (such as labor, stage, or lighting & grip in a studio)
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
Must be an effective leader and be able to motivate people
Needs to work well under the pressure of production and events
Fundamental understanding of video and audio production equipment and capabilities
Prop and grip experience necessary
Must work well as a member of a team and be able to be a competent team leader
Heavy equipment certifications (forklift, boom lift, scissor lift, etc.) in order to move items around for productions/studio
Valid Driver's License
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, time management skills and capable of prioritizing tasks
Attention to detail

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent job experience
Knowledge of MRI Angus
