Responsibilities
Candidate is expected to be the primary SME on any project assignments but may also be asked to handle other requests and incident tickets
This role requires an independent, hands‑on Epic Ambulatory builder who can assume ownership of production build, support, optimization, and upgrade activities with minimal ramp‑up
The contractor will work closely with clinical stakeholders, cross‑application IT teams, and leadership to ensure continuity of care and system stability
Qualification
Required
Epic Ambulatory certification (required)
Epic Bones certification (required)
7+ years of Epic application analyst experience in a healthcare system
Proven experience owning production Epic build
Experience supporting large health system environments
Strong understanding of clinical workflows in ambulatory settings
Preferred
Multiple additional Epic certifications strongly preferred
Participation in enterprise Epic upgrades
Familiarity with structured intake tools (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent)
Experience working directly with provider leadership and operational stakeholders
