Responsibilities

QC Lab Analyst actively practices Principle-Based Management and fosters the use of PBM® guiding principles in their daily job performance
Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner with customer focus and value creation in mind
Complete tasks assigned proficiently without direct supervision
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
Communicate and document issues regarding quality, instruments, and production
Perform routine and repetitive tests with accuracy and precision, and record analytical data accurately
Participate in developing and implementing long-term lab process enhancements
Understand and follow all QC Lab, Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures
Working a 12-hour rotating shift (DuPont Shift Schedule) - will require overtime and on-call duties
Work is performed in a climate-controlled laboratory, while standing for long periods of time, and lifting/carrying 30 pounds is necessary

Required

High school diploma OR GED
Experience working with competing priorities
Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook (for internal and external correspondence), Word (to write business correspondence), and Excel (to chart SQC and test data)
Must be capable of regular lifting and moving up to 10 pounds, and frequently lifting and moving up to 30 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Required to work a 12-hour rotating shift. Additionally, must be available to work scheduled (Planned) or unscheduled (unplanned/short-notice hours on nights and/or weekends, holidays as needed), to meet business needs

Preferred

Associate degree or higher
One (1) or more years of direct laboratory experience or working in the polymer process industry
Experience with laboratory management systems (for example, FileMaker and Sample Manager databases)
