Consulting
Responsibilities
Perform structural engineering analysis and design of temporary and permanent works
Complete structural analysis of permanent structures during the construction phase
Develop and assess construction sequence proposals
Producing sketches to communicate the design to our clients
Assists in the preparation of project deliverables, including but not limited to: reports, permit applications, drawings and specifications, cost estimates, field data collection, shop drawing review, calculations, material testing and BIM/CADD work
Performs basic survey work and observes construction activities
Reviews input from Project or Technical Managers and makes the necessary adjustments and corrections to work product
Performs work in a timely and effective manner within assigned schedules and budgets
Qualification
Required
0-2 Years of experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program
General knowledge of required design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Good communication and technical writing skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
Valid Driver's License
Ability to maintain required certifications
Preferred
Previous internships or work experience in the Engineering field
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
