Responsibilities

Accurately interpret state educational standards and curriculum documents
Identify the IXL skills that best help students meet the goals of each standard or textbook section
Format alignments as Google spreadsheets
Assist in researching state and international education standards
Collaborate with curriculum designers to determine the best possible alignments
Incorporate and apply feedback to complete revisions as needed

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in scienceAligning content to standardsK-12 educational terminologyTeaching experience in K-5 scienceGoogle SheetsExcelAttention to detailOrganization skillsIndependent workCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in science (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) or a closely-related field
1+ years of experience aligning content to state standards
Strong knowledge of K-12 educational terminology and science content
Teaching experience in K-5 science
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel
Demonstrated attention to detail and organization
Ability to work independently and meet due dates
Clear and consistent communication skills

Preferred

Knowledge of additional subject areas is a plus
