Responsibilities

Help develop products, technology, and IP roadmaps and strategies to support business unit growth in the Aerospace and Defense market
Own the product from an idea to a successful release, with a competitive value proposition and in close cooperation with application engineering and R&D teams
Lead the whole product creation cycle from product idea, through specification definition, business case preparation, tracking of project activities and assist product manager with go-to-market launch plans
Initiate innovative ideas or projects to drive segment strategy and lead the project execution to achieve tangible results
Conduct effective and comprehensive customer research to understand market size and opportunity, technical requirements, and the competitive landscape. Deliver those data-driven insights as inputs into the product roadmap to drive business unit growth. When necessary, present a summary to the leadership team
Work with applications engineering to translate customer needs into use case and technical requirements for R&D
Work closely with product management team to develop and deliver marketing collateral including competitive positioning, product updates, sales training, webinars, white papers, etc
Act as business development interface when required and consult with our customers in the selection of products, and/or design support by deploying application engineering resources as required
Drive cross business line and cross division cooperation and alignment, when necessary, on projects
Approximately 10% of travel time to provide on-site customer meetings and/or support conferences/exhibits

Required

New college graduate with a BSEE or equivalent technical degree
Academic experience in the field of power electronics, analog circuits, and discrete components
Technical aptitude as well as business acumen. Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in early product lifecycle
Team player with an ability to work collaboratively across geographies and functions
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic, and strong focus on delivering results to plan
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers/stakeholders at all levels from executive to engineering
Able to motivate and excite people to influence customers and internal stakeholders
Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3)
