Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analysis on litigation cases
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court filings
Conduct depositions including corporate representatives and experts
Represent clients in court proceedings and prepare for trials
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters
Spot issues and strategize litigation
2nd chair trials if they don't settle (usually settle)
Qualification
Required
Strong background in civil and/or business litigation
Conduct legal research and analysis on litigation cases
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court filings
Conduct depositions including corporate representatives and experts
Represent clients in court proceedings and prepare for trials
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters
Spot issues and strategize litigation
2nd chair trials if they don't settle
