Responsibilities
Work on an agile team to design and implement automated testing solutions
Develop automation within a test framework
Building test automation into a CI/CD process (Jenkins, GitLab)
Collaborate with developers to capture new and modified code
Solve complex problems and implement efficient solutions
Continuously learn and improve your coding skills
Work in an environment that encourages innovation and creativity
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Strong knowledge of Python programming
Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting
Ability to turn concepts, specifications, or requirements into design and code
Experience with testing and debugging
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
Preferred
Agile experience preferred
Understanding of software development best practices
Passion for coding and staying updated with the latest technologies
Ability to define the scope, schedule, and expectations for the work you execute
Shows initiative on assignments and executes projects with little guidance
