Responsibilities

Provide visionary leadership in developing and executing ULEAD's strategic goals, marketing plans, and programmatic initiatives in alignment with mission and values
Identify new opportunities for growth, partnerships, and innovation in leadership development and experiential learning
Ensure the organization remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices in leadership development
Facilitate exceptional leadership development programs for diverse audiences (youth, emerging leaders, executives) using innovative experiential learning methodologies
Continuously evolve program design to meet changing participant needs while maintaining ULEAD's commitment to playful, transformative learning experiences
Oversee daily operations, ensuring that programs, services, and initiatives are delivered at the highest quality
Provide direct supervision and development of staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement where team members can discover their why and grow their skills
Implement effective systems and processes to ensure operational efficiency and scalability
Manage the organization's financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic resource allocation
Ensure the organization meets its financial goals, including revenue targets, fundraising objectives, and cost management
Maintain transparency and accountability in financial reporting to the board and stakeholders
Serve as the primary spokesperson and representative of the organization to clients, partners, granting agencies, corporations, donors, media, and the broader community
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, donors, and industry leaders
Advocate for the organization's mission and values in all external engagements
Work closely with the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, the Board's Executive Committee, and the staff team to enhance strategic priorities, organizational governance, and fundraising responsibilities
Provide regular updates on the organization's performance, challenges, and opportunities
Serve as an ex officio non-voting member of the Board
Lead in recruitment and orientation of new Board members
Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the organization
Foster a culture of leadership development and continuous learning within the organization
Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are prioritized in all aspects of the organization's work

Required

Minimum 10 years of proven CEO or senior executive experience in leadership development or experiential education organization
Bachelor's degree required
A satisfactory background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment

Preferred

Master's degree preferred in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Education, or related field
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
