Responsibilities
Support facilities activities at Novi, MI and Blythewood, OEM depending on development cycle stage
Perform packaging studies
Provide media for engineering presentations
Incorporate CAD into OEM KVS systems
Modify components per OEM Engineering direction for design, engineering, and safety requirements
Design sheet metal components and assemblies
Support manufacturing feasibility, part performance improvements, and interface changes
Develop new parts/assemblies as required
Conduct engineering studies
Release CAD data in KVS system
Qualification
Required
Expertise in CATIA V6 and V5
Ability to perform packaging studies
Knowledge of OEM systems
Proficient in English (read, speak, understand)
Extensive experience in sheet metal components and assembly's design
