Responsibilities
Design electrical systems, including layout drawings, schematics, cable and conduit plans, motor control center (MCC) specifications, and lighting designs
Program and integrate PLCs (MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix) and HMIs (RSView Studio)
Set up, test, and troubleshoot control systems both in-house and at customer sites
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for installed systems—both remotely and on-site
Collaborate with fellow engineers, project managers, sales teams, and panel fabricators
Assist with equipment selection, cost estimating, and procurement
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and stay current with emerging technologies
Travel domestically and internationally as required
Perform additional duties as assigned by engineering leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated eagerness to learn
Solid foundation in electrical systems with practical troubleshooting experience
Proficiency in creating electrical schematics using AutoCAD
Preferred
Preferred experience in material handling systems or industrial weighing applications
Preference given to candidates with relevant experience; however, recent graduates with strong technical aptitude and initiative will be considered
