Responsibilities
Process vehicle titles and registrations for new and used vehicles (retail, wholesale, trade-ins, lease buyouts)
Review all title documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Arizona MVD requirements
Submit title packets, correct errors, and resolve issues with MVD as needed
Maintain accurate records of all processed titles and corresponding fees
Reconcile daily MVD transactions and handle payments, refunds, and checks
Communicate with customers, banks, lenders, and internal teams regarding title status and documentation needed
Prepare and track lien releases, payoff letters, and title transfers
Maintain awareness of current Arizona MVD laws, regulations, and procedural changes
Support the accounting, sales, and F&I teams as needed
Qualification
Required
1-3+ years of automotive title clerk or DMV processing experience required
Strong working knowledge of Arizona MVD title and registration procedures
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with documentation
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with dealership systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar software
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Experience working in a high-volume dealership environment
Familiarity with processing out-of-state titles and complex title scenarios
Strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities
