Rochester Regional Health is seeking an Anesthesia Tech who will manage anesthesia equipment and supplies while assisting with the daily functions of the Anesthesia Department. The role requires excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.

Responsibilities

Equipment Management. Maintain all anesthesia equipment; manage quality control by recognizing malfunctioning equipment and taking necessary action; perform minor equipment repairs and preventive maintenance
Procedure Assistance. Prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for use; calibrate and check equipment accurately before each use; assist with procedures as assigned; stock anesthesia carts with extremely high-risk medications (may handle meds, sharps and syringes); maintain a clean, safe and adequately supplied workroom
Maintains Ideal Working Operations. Contribute to maintenance of supply inventory, ensure there are adequate levels of available supplies and complete monthly pharmacy inspections

Qualification

Anesthesia experience

Preferred

H.S. diploma preferred
Previous anesthesia experience preferred
