Responsibilities
Deliver competent medical care to patients at WakeMed
Complete referrals, consults, daily patient rounds, daily notes, discharge summaries, procedures, clinic notes, pre and post procedure care, prescribing and patient care follow-ups
Work closely with other healthcare providers in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach
Function as an educator for PA/NP/CNM/DO students from healthcare education programs
Maintain the scope of practice consistent with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Support the mission, values, and management of WakeMed
Qualification
Required
Licensed Physician Assistant
Board Certification in Area of Practice Required
Bachelor's Degree Physician Assistant Required
1 Year Clinical - Physician Assistant
Preferred
Master's Degree Physician Assistant Preferred
1 Year Clinical - Physician Assistant Preferred
