Responsibilities
Build and maintain SQL stored procedures to meet reporting requirements
Extract and export SQL data for reporting consumption (piped/delimited CSV outputs)
Develop, publish, and maintain Tableau On‑Prem dashboards and automated reports
Support primarily new development initiatives (minimal pure maintenance)
Gather requirements and communicate directly with business stakeholders and end users
Support Tableau adoption following recent implementation
Maintain and oversee documentation in Alation
Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
Collaborate with a geographically dispersed analytics team
Operate as a self‑starter with strong ownership and accountability
Qualification
Required
Tableau On‑Premise (Server, Dashboards, Prep)
Microsoft SQL (querying, stored procedures, data extraction)
Report and dashboard development
Strong communication skills with business and end users
2–3+ years of Tableau On‑Prem experience preferred
Preferred
Experience exporting SQL data to delimited or piped CSV files
Experience working with healthcare data (MEDITECH Expanse preferred)
Experience with non‑normalized data and complex joins
Experience maintaining documentation in Alation data catalog
Exposure to interfaces or downstream reporting consumers
