Morae is seeking an experienced iRM Records Manager to lead and manage the organisation’s records and information lifecycle using iManage Records Manager (iRM). This role is responsible for ensuring effective records governance and compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, while overseeing the classification, retention, and disposal of records across the business.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage iManage Records Manager (iRM) , including configuration, classification schemes, and retention schedules
Oversee the full records lifecycle: creation, classification, retention, archiving, and defensible disposal
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational records management requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain records management policies, procedures, and best practices
Provide guidance and training to staff on proper records management and iRM usage
Conduct records audits and compliance reviews
Respond to legal holds, eDiscovery, and regulatory requests in collaboration with Legal and Compliance teams
Manage metadata standards, file plans, and taxonomy structures
Act as the subject matter expert for iRM and records governance initiatives
Drive continuous improvement of records and information management processes

Required

Proven experience as a Records Manager or Information Management professional
Hands-on experience with iManage Records Manager (iRM)
Strong knowledge of records management principles, retention schedules, and information governance
Experience supporting legal, compliance, or regulated environments
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently in a fully remote role

Preferred

Experience in law firms or in-house legal environments
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, data retention requirements)
Experience with eDiscovery or legal hold processes
Records management or information governance certifications
