Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced HR professional to provide on-site support in the Tri-State area. The role involves assisting with various HR functions, including recruitment, employee development, and managing HR data using Kronos and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters
Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures
Recommend strategies to motivate employees
Assist with recruitment: identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts
Investigate employee complaints and mediate conflicts as needed
Coordinate employee development plans and performance management
Conduct orientations and maintain records of new staff
Manage the organization’s employee database (Kronos) and prepare reports
Perform advanced Excel tasks to analyze and manage HR data
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
Assist with budget monitoring and payroll
Stay up-to-date with HR trends and best practices

Required

Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Coordinator or HR Specialist
Heavy Excel experience is required (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
Experience with Kronos or similar timekeeping systems
Understanding of Labor Law and HR regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate with proficiency in email and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational, decision-making, and conflict management skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
