Responsibilities
Perform daily database administration and operational support
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise database structures
Monitor and tune database performance
Conduct SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL code reviews
Develop and maintain DBA documentation and procedures
Support GIS and spatial databases
Mentor and assist technical staff as needed
Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver long-term database solutions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of database administration experience
Strong expertise in SQL Server (2012+), Oracle (19c+), and PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with GIS and spatial databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Experience with ESRI SDE Geodatabases
Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills
Preferred
Experience with Azure SQL
Familiarity with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, and cloud-based GIS services (Azure, ArcGIS Online)
