Responsibilities
Develop a detailed understanding of our database and algorithm, to understand inputs and outputs of our algorithm, and easily pull and validate data
Test new features to ensure accurate new feature implementation
Help manage projects to ensure development, QA, and dashboards are completed on time and accurately
Design and maintain dashboards and KPIs using SQL, Databricks, and Looker to monitor algorithm effectiveness and business performance
Conduct daily monitoring of metrics, identifying anomalies, diagnosing root causes, and implementing data-driven solutions
Collaborate with Data Engineers and Software Developers to define new tables, optimize data models, and integrate ML-driven features into analytical workflows
Leverage statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies to size opportunities and evaluate personalization and food experience enhancements
Automate key data validation and quality assurance processes to enhance efficiency and reliability
Qualification
Required
5+ Years regularly in a DB performing analysis
5+ Years of Hands-On SQL Experience
2+ years with data visualization tools (ideally Looker)
Experience working cross-functionally with Software Developers or Data Engineers
Experience with project management for new product features
Experience at a Fast Paced Start-Up
Preferred
Experience with personalization and/or algorithms is a plus
QA experience is a plus
Databricks experience a plus
