Responsibilities
Lead and monitor multiple reliability projects across R&D programs
Provide risk assessments to cross-functional teams and executive leadership
Create and implement test plans to mitigate risks in new product designs
Facilitate FMEA discussions to evaluate technical risk
Record, organize, and manage large sets of detailed test data
Analyze test results to drive critical reliability decisions
Troubleshoot instrument failures and direct root cause investigations
Guide corrective action identification, implementation, and validation
Deliver clear, structured updates to stakeholders and leadership
Provide engineering input to ensure reliable, robust product designs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
5+ years of reliability engineering experience (or 3+ with advanced degree)
Strong knowledge of reliability fundamentals (life predictions, modeling, root cause analysis, accelerated testing)
Experience with statistical analysis and test data interpretation
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to work in BSL2 lab and prepare blood samples (training provided)
Preferred
Knowledge of fluidic, optical, and/or electro-mechanical systems
Experience with test automation (LabView, Arduino, etc.)
Familiarity with FMEA facilitation and six sigma tools
Experience with data processing tools (Minitab, MATLAB, JMP, R)
