Responsibilities
Leverage process automation and control capabilities to drive productivity improvements and increase operational reliability across teams and regional production sites
Oversee all relevant aspects of the Operational Technology (OT) domain, ensuring best practices and standards are applied in both day-to-day operations and project execution
Provide hands-on executional support to regional production sites and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects, ensuring successful implementation of automation solutions
Act as a key liaison between the central Process Automation & Digitalization (PA&D) team and regional sites, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
Serve as the primary point of contact for guidance and information related to Process Control System (PCS) and Safety Instrumented System (SIS) functionality at the sites
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation enhancements and driving their implementation in alignment with organizational goals
Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards within the OT landscape
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science or University Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in process control management and maintenance
Hands-on experience with industrial control systems is required
Proven 5+ years of experience in the Operational Technology (OT) domain
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
A team-oriented mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration abilities
Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work independently when needed
Preferred
Specialization or strong focus in Automation, Process Control, or Industrial IT preferred
Experience within the chemical or refining industry is preferred
Familiarity with process control system hardware, country-specific codes and regulations, engineering standards, and industry best practices
Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Alarm Rationalization is a plus
