Responsibilities

Interpret detailed drawings for troubleshooting and failure diagnosis
Assemble, and install mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic components or assemblies
Set up and conduct prototype unit and subsystem tests under operational conditions
Analyze test data, identify issues, and recommend modifications
Support critical flight hardware integration with high attention to detail and safety
Organize and maintain Test Stations for the F-22 Test Department
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks
Assist in the calibration test equipment process
Travel - This position could require up to 5% travel domestically

Required

High School Diploma with 2 (or more) years mechanical, electronic or related experience
Electronic skills (AC/DC/resistance measurements)
Mechanical equipment experience
Assembly and soldering experience
Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word and Excel)
Experience with Calibration and Preventative Maintenance of Electronic Equipment
Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
US Citizenship

Preferred

U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Aerospace Integration and Test experience
Experience with troubleshooting and repair support equipment
Experience with voltage circuitry
Experience with generating and supporting disposition of discrepancy documentation
Experience with IPC, J-STD, and AS9100 processes, procedures and protocols
Experience with critical/hazardous operations a plus
Manufacturing experience and certifications with flight wire harnessing, flight soldering, and epoxy bonding/application highly desired
