St. Bonaventure University is inviting applications for a lecturer position in the Childhood Education program. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and teaching courses, as well as supporting the work of the school and department.

Required

Master's degree
A minimum of 5 years P-12 teaching experience with diverse learners (i.e., emergent bilingual students, students with disabilities, students from high poverty backgrounds, and/or culturally and linguistically diverse students, etc.) in urban and/or rural environments
Must hold a current teacher certification for grades 1-6
Knowledge of and experience with P-12 school-based teacher education programs
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience with instructional design to include technology supported instruction, course delivery formats, online course management systems, and best practices in education for both K-12 and at the university level

Preferred

ABD or doctorate preferred
Certification in additional areas, such as Literacy and/or special education certification strongly encouraged
