Responsibilities
Create and refine Standard Work for assembly and machining departments
Support assembly and automated CNC machining lines including root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigation and resolution
Develop facilities plan including processing equipment, plant layout, material flow, and infrastructure needs
Design fixtures as need to support machining, and assembly processes
Lead continuous improvement projects
Collaborate with QA and Design Engineers for NPI and process diagnostics
Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs
Assist with New Product Introductions (NPIs)
Define packaging requirements for NPI and maintenance for released product
Set process routings and labor standards
Manufacturing Technical resource for R&D Engineering
Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor and/or manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
5+ years of professional experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment
Proven Project Management experience
Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
Possess a strong technical knowledge of metalworking processes
Expert with 3D CAD software in a fixture design environment
2D AutoCAD LT
Proficient in best drafting practices, including GD&T
Preferred
Creo preferred
PLC diagnostics is a plus
