Regional Warehouse Safety Manager

The Regional Warehouse Safety Manager will lead safety and security strategies across multiple warehouses, implementing programs to reduce workplace injuries and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of safety and security programs across assigned warehouse sites
Collaborate with the corporate safety team to align site activities with organizational goals
Advise and support site leadership on best practices for accident and injury prevention
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate safety regulations
Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits; follow up on corrective actions
Provide hands-on support and guidance for site-level incident investigations
Deliver and evaluate safety training programs, and mentor new safety team members
Represent the organization during inspections or audits by external regulatory bodies
Analyze incident data and safety trends to identify improvement opportunities
Support the development and execution of safety-related budgets and capital planning
Present safety reports, updates, and initiatives to regional and corporate leadership
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive safety experience for multiple sites in warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution center industry is required
Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, environmental health, or related field in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent plus relevant work experience
Demonstrated experience managing multi-site safety or security initiatives
Proficient in OSHA and other regulatory safety standards (federal, state, and local)
Experience leading incident investigations and developing corrective action plans
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more
Preferred
Professional safety certification (e.g., CSP, CHST, ASP)
Experience in a 3PL or third-party logistics environment
Proven track record of building safety programs from the ground up
Strong analytical skills and experience with safety KPI dashboards or reporting tools
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Hazwoper or DOT Hazmat training a strong plus
Experience in creating and implementing emergency response procedures a plus
