Chemical Process Engineer Manager

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise to ensure the operation produces product that meets all quality, cost, and efficiency requirements
Lead a team to identify ways to improve safety, quality, yields, and the capability of existing processes while also assisting in the scale up and implementation of developmental products/processes
Lead continuous process improvement to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the operation to meet goals established by the business along with providing technical guidance to the operations team to assist with process troubleshooting along with developing corrective action plans
Deliver high impact process improvement projects yielding significant reductions in defects/costs and increased productivity in the operation
Develop data-driven solutions, using process controls & monitoring, to achieve an injury-free and high efficiency operation

Qualification

Chemical manufacturing experienceSix Sigma certificationProcess improvementLeadership experienceBachelor's degree in engineering

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or other science related discipline
Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
Due to compliance with U. S export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in U.S

Preferred

Previous leadership experience
Six Sigma certification
Chemical manufacturing experience
Experience with identifying process changes
