Responsibilities
Draft, revise, and maintain Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and franchise agreements
Advise franchisors and franchisees on compliance, structuring, and risk
Draft and negotiate business contracts, operating agreements, and transactional documents
Communicate directly with clients in a clear, confident, and practical manner
Manage matters independently while collaborating closely with the team
Contribute to firm growth through ideas, process improvements, and leadership
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of business law, contract drafting, and negotiation experience necessary
Active law license and good standing required
Preferred
5+ years of franchise law experience preferred
Remote candidates must have meaningful franchise law experience
Candidates without franchise law experience must be local to Utah
Candidates with under 5 years of experience must have served on a law journal
