Responsibilities

Contribute to the full lifecycle of system development, including analysis, design, testing, implementation, and user support
Apply data analysis techniques to assist with reporting, forecasting, and operational planning
Support application development and enhancements using WebFOCUS and other programming languages, with an emphasis on web-based applications
Ensure systems align with Judiciary IT standards and infrastructure requirements
Assist in coordinating the work of consultants and employees by monitoring deliverables and timelines
Provide input into performance objectives, work standards, and resource allocations
Support training and professional development initiatives for staff and consultants
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding assigned projects
Plan and manage user requirement gathering sessions to understand requirement
Provide production support for current Business Intelligence environments
Create and follow the best practices and standards in Business Intelligence tool set
Create and maintain HTML, JAVA scripting
Create and maintain User security
Lead the individual projects and deliver in timely manner
Provide expert level support on the toolset

Required

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and five years of professional experience, two years of which shall have included experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting information technology systems and services in the mainframe, server, and network environments
May include analyzing and resolving complex technical problems; generating and testing applications code; performing database administration; administering data security; operating enterprise computer systems; contingency planning, implementing telecommunications facilities; and developing and/or conducting training on IT systems, concepts, applications, policies, or security
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits
An associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
A master's degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of general experience as indicated above –OR– a law degree from an approved American Bar Association law school may be substituted for two years of general experience as indicated above
Education Note: Degrees conferred outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service
Driver's License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position
Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Special Note: Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting
Residency Law: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the 'New Jersey First Act,' all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey
