Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with a physician for assistance in clinical decision-making, case management and evaluation of performance
The Nurse Practitioner provides triage and treatment of acute, self-limited medical conditions using telemedicine technology, performing examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and prescribing drugs or other therapies via two-way video consultations with patients
The Nurse Practitioner may work remotely from a previously designated and agreed upon work setting

Masters of Science in NursingMO Nurse Practitioner licenseBLS certificationProficient computer skillsCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Masters of Science in Nursing
No Prior Experience Required
Must have access to a personal computer and reliable internet source in a private setting if working remotely
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
Proficient computer skills
Must have current MO RN license and needs to obtain NP credentials within 60 days of hire
BLS within 90 days of hire
Successful completion of all department specific credentialing within first 90 days of employment
