10+ years expPTC is a leading company transforming the way physical and digital worlds interact. They are seeking a Principal System Operations Engineer to contribute to the deployment, expansion, and monitoring of their global cloud service for a unique 3D collaborative CAD application.

Responsibilities
Work to complete stories and fix bugs on a 3-week Agile style release process using a CI/CD pipeline
Review logs to debug issues with deployed, globally distributed environments
Take ownership of new solutions, ideas, assignments, action items, and issues, and drive them to completion
On-call rotation on average 1 week at a time every two months
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, science, or equivalent experience
10+ years in a highly technical, hands-on operations / DevOps / support / QA role
Strong experience with administering and deploying on Linux systems
Experience with automated deployment and monitoring tools like Puppet and Ansible
Experience with automated Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, etc
Experience with backend databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch
Experience supporting Java applications
Python or bash scripting
US Citizenship or Green Card is required due to ITAR requirements
Ability to commute to the Seaport Boston office 2-3 days a week
