Required

Completion of educational courses as specified in the Class Specification
Possess 12 semester or 18 quarter units course work in any combination of a data driven research-related fields, such as economics, mathematics, psychology, sociology, demography, geography, anthropology, statistics, data science or a research-related field
Must include at least one course in statistical methods
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor's degree
Work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis by applicants who have the required units mentioned above
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov
Resume is required and must be included
Authorization to Release Information Form (PO-299)
Documentation showing you meet the minimum qualifications of the classification. Required documentation is a legible copy of college transcripts indicating a bachelor's or advanced degree was awarded as proof of meeting the education requirements listed in the classification specifications
Applicants who completed their education outside of the United States with foreign degrees/transcripts must obtain and submit verification of United States course/degree equivalency by the application deadline
