Accounts Receivable Assistant

CareOne is dedicated to maximizing patient outcomes in the healthcare community. They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator who will be responsible for reconciling and collecting accounts, verifying billing data, and maintaining customer contact regarding delinquent accounts.

Responsibilities

Reconcile and collect current and past due accounts via telephone calls and written correspondence
Must be able to maintain high customer contact relating to delinquent accounts
Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices; and record amounts due for services rendered
Perform bookkeeping work, including posting data and keeping other records
Resolve discrepancies in accounting records
Contact customers in order to obtain or relay account information

Required

Prior collection experience
Must be able to maintain high customer contact relating to delinquent accounts
Must be able to multi-task, and have excellent follow-up and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Excel and Word
1 year of experience Medical Billing
Excellent Verbal Communication and Customer Service Skills
Experience with Medical billing, some knowledge with Medicaid and Medicare Billing as well as second insurance
