Evaluate and process California workers' compensation claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims
Collaborate with medical professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information
Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and insurance providers to provide updates and address inquiries
Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary
Stay abreast of industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in workers' compensation

Required

3+ years of experience as a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster handling California Indemnity claims
CA certification required; SIP license a plus!
Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws, regulations, and industry practices
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred, but will accept years of experience
