Responsibilities
Operate and assist core users to perform in-vivo and ex-vivo small animals' studies with Micro-CT scanning
Clean and maintain small animals' anesthesia machine
Urine cages. Assist setting up animal studies and cleaning
Assist with ELISA and Magnetic bead Mapping Multiplex Technology
Assist with VITROS clinical analyzer operations
Manage service request queue
Record and document research data, discussing results with the supervisor
Assist in data collection for project reports and literature review for new procedures
Assemble, maintain and operate various laboratory equipment and apparatus
May plan for, and provide working supervision to, work of laboratory personnel of lower grade engaged in limited phase of research project
Laboratory housekeeping, organization and supervision of consumables
Oversee the procurement and management of consumables, ensuring adequate inventory levels
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree With major coursework in field of assignment and no experience
Two (2) years of college with emphasis in coursework in field of assignment
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
No experience required with Bachelor's Degree
2 years of laboratory experience at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with two (2) years of college
4 years of laboratory experience including two years at level of Laboratory Technical Assistant or equivalent with High School Graduation or GED equivalent
