Responsibilities
Lead and evolve the Security Operations function, providing oversight, mentorship, and escalation support
Serve as a primary cybersecurity SME, engaging with client leadership through briefings, assessments, and strategic planning sessions
Develop and execute a security operations strategy aligned with organizational goals and risk profiles
Guide incident response planning and execution, acting as a key point of contact during security events
Oversee security architecture and tooling, advising on technology selection and long-term security roadmaps
Evaluate, recommend, and oversee the implementation of security tools and platforms—including SIEM, SOAR, SASE, IDS/IPS, EDR, and related technologies—while acting as the trusted advisor to clients on security architecture decisions and technology roadmaps
Lead client-facing risk assessments to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and gaps. Develop pragmatic, prioritized mitigation strategies and communicate risk in business terms to support informed decision-making by client executives
Define and present security metrics, reporting on security effectiveness, compliance posture, and risk reduction
Build and maintain a high-performing, customer-focused Security Operations team committed to continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT services
Experience in leading security operations or monitoring teams
Strong knowledge of security principles, frameworks, and modern defensive technologies
Proven ability to communicate technical security concepts to both technical and executive audiences
Demonstrated experience in client engagement, advisory roles, and relationship management
Preferred
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar
