Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV systems, including video conferencing, sound systems, displays, control systems, and networking
Provide remote and on-site support to troubleshoot and repair AV equipment
Work with manufacturers and vendors to coordinate repairs, replacements, and software updates
Perform regular preventative maintenance on AV equipment to ensure reliability and longevity
Identify and recommend system improvements and upgrades
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of support activities
Assist with the setup, testing, and integration of new AV systems
Work alongside installation teams to ensure proper functionality and calibration of AV components
Configure AV systems to meet client needs, ensuring optimal performance
Provide training and guidance to end-users on AV system operations
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and support staff to deliver high-quality AV solutions
Serve as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure service excellence

Required

3+ years of experience in AV support, system troubleshooting, and maintenance
Hands-on experience with AV technologies, including Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure, and Dante
Knowledge of networking principles related to AV systems (IP addressing, VLANs, streaming protocols)
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex)
Familiarity with AV control systems and automation
Ability to read technical drawings, signal flow diagrams, and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and move AV equipment as needed
Valid driver's license, clean MVR, and willingness to travel to client sites

Preferred

AVIXA CTS, Crestron, or Extron certifications (preferred but not required)
