Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, architects, and building owners
Drive revenue through strategic business development and account management
Manage the full sales cycle from quoting through project completion
Understand customer needs and recommend HVAC solutions
Provide technical support across commercial HVAC systems
Prepare estimates, proposals, and deliver product presentations
Partner with engineering and internal teams to execute projects smoothly
Support logistics, warranty coordination, and field service needs
Ensure clear communication and handoff to operations teams
Identify new opportunities and evaluate market potential
Stay current on HVAC technologies and industry trends
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events

Required

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful commercial or applied HVAC sales experience
Technical Knowledge: In-depth expertise in commercial HVAC systems and familiarity with key manufacturers
Sales Skills: Proven consultative sales approach with the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments
Professional Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred

Established network and reputation within the HVAC industry
Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems
Familiarity with construction industry practices and piping business
Ability to travel occasionally to remote project locations – typically within the state of Arizona
Strategic and analytical thinking to evaluate solutions and drive results
