Open Rank Professor (Continuing Track) Biomedical Engineering Quantitative Systems Pharmacology
The University of Delaware is inviting applications for an open-rank faculty position in the Biomedical Engineering Department. The role focuses on teaching, service, and research, with a major component being the directorship of the new M.S. program in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology.

Responsibilities
Serve as Director of the new M.S. program in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP)
Teach classes in QSP at the graduate level as well as undergraduate classes in related subjects
Support the growth and development of the QSP program
Foster industry engagement with the program and department
Increase visibility and reputation in the area
Facilitate relationship building with pharmaceutical companies, QSP professional societies, and the FDA
Teach existing QSP classes and develop new classes
Build research portfolio in QSP
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, pharmacology, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related field relevant to QSP
Demonstrated leadership/administrative experience
Ability to teach classes in QSP at the graduate level as well as undergraduate classes in related subjects
Support the growth and development of the QSP program
Foster industry engagement with the program and department
Experience in administrative roles, program or initiative development, and industry engagement
Preferred
Experience in building relationships with pharmaceutical companies, QSP professional societies, and the FDA
Ability to increase visibility and reputation in the area of QSP
Ability to develop exciting new classes in QSP
Ability to build a research portfolio in QSP
