Customer Service Representative I – Historical Interpreter
The City of Fort Worth is one of the fastest growing large cities in the U.S. and is seeking a Historical Interpreter for Log Cabin Village, a living history museum. The role involves providing exceptional customer service to visitors, relaying history, and demonstrating 19th century crafts to enhance educational experiences.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to group tour and walk-in visitors and coworkers
Utilize effective teamwork to achieve goals
Ensure assigned areas are clean and secure (sweeping, cleaning glass, locking doors)
Make items to be sold in museum store
Assist with special family events and classes
Develop and teach classes as time and interest allows
Heavy public contact
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma and no experience required
Preferred
Heavy public contact in educational and/or museum settings
Working knowledge of 19th century crafts/skills
Bilingual English/Spanish
Two (2) years of customer service experience
Dressing in 19th century style clothing
May also require extensive walking around the 2.5-acre site
