Account Executive - Health and Human Services (HHS)

The Account Executive will focus on selling cloud-based software solutions to government agencies, utilizing consultative sales techniques and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals within an assigned territory, to include prospecting, qualifying, and closing activities
Maintain a robust sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track opportunities, document sales activities, and generate accurate forecasts
Engage with prospective customers in a consultative sales capacity to align our products, recommendations, and use cases with their unique challenges and requirements. Must be competent at pitching, negotiating, and closing
Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers, including agency directors, program managers, IT leaders, and procurement officials
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate SOWs, proposals, and presentations
Work closely with marketing, product, customer success, and sales to execute go-to-market strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience
Stay informed about trends, challenges, and regulatory changes within the child welfare and government sectors to position Lyssn as a trusted advisor
Utilize a suite of platforms to complete work remotely and conduct business in alignment with company processes and quality standards

Required

8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 4 years selling technology solutions to state and local government agencies
Proven success in enterprise SaaS sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to pick up new concepts, processes, and technologies quickly
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot), Adobe, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite
Ability to travel for client engagements, industry events, and internal off-site meetings

Preferred

Experience selling SaaS or in the child welfare domain
Experience selling SaaS to child welfare or other HHS entities
Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, social work, or a related field
Strong understanding of competitive and non-competitive purchasing and decision-maker roles within state and local governments
Exemplary teamwork and collaborative spirit
Understanding of large-scale EBP implementations and evaluations, including activities such as fidelity monitoring
Knowledge of implementation science, change management, or FFPSA legislation
