RJM Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Python / AI Developer to join a long-term contract engagement supporting a backfill role on an existing team. The role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting Python-based applications with strong use of AI and machine learning frameworks in a modern, cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications supporting AI and machine learning use cases
Implement and integrate AI/ML models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
Build and consume RESTful APIs within microservices-based architectures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design, query, and optimize data storage solutions
Support cloud-based development and deployment across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing codebases as part of a backfill engagement

Required

10+ years of hands-on software development experience using Python
Strong practical experience with AI and machine learning libraries and frameworks
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD practices
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams
US citizenship is required

Preferred

Prior experience supporting or modernizing existing production systems
Exposure to scalable, cloud-native application design
Experience working on long-term enterprise contract engagements
