Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and developing new projects once data is received
Ability to lead a team performing structural and line design analysis using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Caisson
Perform as the go-to-expert for modeling and analysis across transmission and distribution
Oversee QA/QC processing adhering to company safety standards
Review and design pole foundations
Provide expert guidance on new installation and the ability to evaluate existing structures
Responsible for supporting construction activities coordinating with the field teams and the inspectors on various issues which include emergency restoration efforts due to wildfires, storms and other incidents
Proven leadership, mentorship, guidance, and instruction to the transmission engineering team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural engineering
Seven plus years' experience of technical experience in Transmission and/or Distribution Engineering
Engineering experience with Electric Utility Distribution and Transmission Systems using G095, NESC, and ASCE codes and guidelines with PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, AutoCAD with desired skillset in PLS-Caisson, and SPIDAcalc
Ability to lead a team performing structural and line design analysis using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Caisson
Proven leadership, mentorship, guidance, and instruction to the transmission engineering team
