Aero Equipment ITR - Mechanical Engineer
GE Vernova is looking for highly motivated individuals to join the Aero Equipment ITR engineering team. The Aero Equipment ITR Mechanical Engineer will assist in delivering customer solutions for Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Generator Equipment projects with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities
Assist Senior Engineers to develop and implement project specific designs
Serve as a key contributor to develop a scope of work and plan schedule and monitor engineering activities for customer projects
Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors
Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters
Collaborates with others to solve issues, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience related to bills of materials, manufacturing, Mechanical engineering, and product design
Preferred
Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive, flexible in changing environments
Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving, learning agility
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Related Mechanical engineering experience through Internship, COOP or University classwork
