Summer Internship – Social Media Intern

InternKrispy Kreme is a beloved sweet treat brand headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. They are seeking a Social Media Intern to support their marketing team by creating content, managing social media platforms, and assisting with various marketing projects during a 10-week internship.

Responsibilities
Content Creation & Development: short-form video, photos, and captions for social platforms
Write scripts and outlines, create shot lists and occasionally appear on camera for social content
Photoshoots & Production Support: Assist during photoshoots & capture supplemental content for social
Social Media Management across platforms, including monitoring comments, messages, and trends
Identify relevant cultural moments, pitch quick-turn content ideas, and support execution of short-notice social moments
Support product activations & campaigns through the lens of social, contributing ideas and executing against timelines
Help track activation performance, analyze, and report learnings
Build and managing gifting lists for PR drops, including brand fans, influencers, and select celebrity partners, to support product launches and special moments
Track category social activity and share trends and ideas
Maintain a log of social engagement, analyzing what is and is not resonating
Qualification
Required
Recent or current undergrad/grad students who have or will graduate between May 2025 - May 2027
Holds a recent degree or pursuing a degree in Marketing/ Digital Marketing, Communication Studies, Advertising/Integrated Marketing, Media Production, Graphic Design, or similar areas of study
Familiarity with social media and digital tools
Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc
Ability to work quickly under strict timelines and think clearly under pressure
Has intellectual curiosity, is passionate about learning, and ready to take on new opportunities
Strong communication skills (written & oral) with attention to detail
Ability to engage and work with cross-functional partners across the organization
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities, and work under tight timelines
Ability to efficiently work in an office environment
And of course, loves doughnuts!
Preferred
Knowledge of Photoshop, Sprinklr, CapCut, and Canva are a plus
