Indirect Processor

Georgia's Own Credit Union is seeking an Indirect Processor to join their team. The primary responsibilities include processing and funding loan applications from indirect channels and ensuring compliance with lending guidelines while providing excellent service to the dealer network.

Responsibilities

Review indirect loan applications for accuracy, ensure it meets lending guidelines and submit to the Underwriting team for a decision
Review dealer contracts, and loan documentation for accuracy
Analyze income for loan qualification and review other loan documentation for accuracy
Ensure all internal policies and procedures are followed and all federal and state compliance regulations have been met prior to booking
Manage indirect processing queues to ensure all service level agreements are met
Verify share and other deposit accounts are opened for new members prior to booking the loan
Communicate with indirect dealers via phone, fax or email to answer questions, provide information and collect and review outstanding stipulations
Supports and participates in continuous process improvement activities
Ensure Indirect Tasklists/Checklists are followed
Other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of 1 years of experience as in loan processing or consumer lending capacity
Working Knowledge of consumer loan products, services, documentation, policies, and procedures
Ability to multitask and prioritize activities
Team oriented and ability to work collaboratively
Familiarity with NCUA lending regulations, and consumer Lending guidelines
Ability to learn new concepts at fast pace, and to apply these new concepts
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work towards individual goals and department goals
Good clerical skills with particular attention to detail
Effective analytical, problem-solving, organization, and planning skills
Ability to operate loan processing system(s), computer, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as needed
Skilled in all MS Office products
Ability to multi-task and work on various projects in a given time frame
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Knowledge of Loans PQ, DNA are a plus
