Mid LevelGBIT (Global Bridge InfoTech Inc) is seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Developer (Back-End) to design, build, and scale serverless backend systems on Google Cloud Platform. The role involves architecting server-side functions and leading the migration of legacy SQL Server data into modern, Google-managed databases.

Responsibilities
Design and develop serverless backend architectures using Google Cloud Platform
Build and maintain GCP Cloud Functions using Python or Node.js
Lead and execute data migration from legacy SQL Server environments to Cloud SQL, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery
Optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance during migrations
Integrate backend services with internal and external systems via APIs
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud workloads
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
Participate in architectural reviews and technical decision-making
Qualification
Required
Strong backend development experience with Python and/or Node.js
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Proven experience building serverless applications using Cloud Functions
Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and Cloud SQL
Experience migrating data from SQL Server to cloud-based databases
Familiarity with BigQuery for analytics and large-scale data processing
Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration patterns
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
